Here in the west Hatha Yoga has become quite popular. But Hatha Yoga was never intended to be practiced as it's own separate system. It is not a separate form or "path" of yoga. It is only the physical branch of Raja Yoga. Raja Yoga, "the royal yoga", has been practiced for thousands of years. It is a direct and scientific method for attaining ones highest potential on all levels.

Level 1 classes focus on safety, alignment, and yogic breathing and give detailed instruction on how to get the most out of your yoga practice. Each yoga posture or "asana" is demonstrated and explained so that beginners can participate with confidence. We’ll focus on simpler asanas, and students receive individual instruction on variations to make the postures comfortable and safe for their own body. This class is not limited to beginners. Many intermediate students prefer this type of step by step instruction. As students gain more experience they will pick up on things during the course that they may not have as beginners.
This course is suitable for all levels of experience including none at all.
